The Waiting

Synopsis

According to the Bureau of Justice, 2.2 million people languish in the nation’s prisons and jails. Many of them have families on the outside, who serve a sentence of their own while awaiting their loved ones’ release. The Waiting follows three families and examines what the outside day-to-day looks like when a family member is inside serving time.
