Unspoken

Synopsis


Billy was an Arab-American, a Muslim, and a beloved son and brother. He was also a heroin user. The Drug Enforcement Administration estimates that 28,000 people die each year from heroin. Last year, Billy was one of them. 

Unspoken provides a rare glimpse inside a religious community grappling with the devastating effects of a national heroin epidemic. And a family, fighting against the odds, to save other Muslim addicts from Billy's fate.
